Sharon is a founding partner of Rubens Partners LLP and has more than 25 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant and consultant.  After 13 years with Leibowitz Shumaker Berger & Rubens LLP and contributing to its growth from 13 to 45 associates, Sharon leveraged her expertise in the areas of business consulting and taxation to form a premier, boutique CPA firm that caters to closely-held businesses and high net-worth individuals.  Since 2006, Rubens Partners LLP has delivered personalized business and tax advice to a growing clientele, due in large part to Sharon's philosophy of listening to her clients and her unwavering commitment to meeting their needs.

Sharon's experience includes work at national CPA firms specializing in real estate, publishing, professional services, and the securities industry.  As a full-service CPA firm, she and her team possess comprehensive knowledge of matters related to Trusts and Estates, Business Valuation, 401(k) and Employee Benefit Audits, and Taxation for Corporations, Partnerships, Fiduciaries, Nonprofits, and Individuals.  She has been called on to testify in Superior Court as an Expert Witness.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Californai Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She earned the Elijah Watt Sells national award in 1985 for achieving high scores on the CPA examination.

"Commitment You Can Count On" is the maxim of Rubens Partners LLP, and Sharon's clients and associates agree that she embodies this philosophy.  Her dedication to her clients and partnering with them to resolve issues with creative and practical solutions has earned her their esteem.  In addition, Sharon has worked diligently to build a team of highly-qualified associates who mirror her own personal commitment to excellence and high level of integrity.

Community involvement is important to Sharon.  She is a trustee for the Walnut Creek Education Foundation K-12 and a member of the Finance Committee for the Reutlinger Community for Jewish Living.  She is also involved with Sustainable Lafayette and Shelter, Inc.  Sharon plays 2nd base for the Rubens Partners softball team, "The Itemizers!"
