Linda Martins became interested in accounting as a high school student and began working in the field at the age of 18 before pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, East Bay. Her more than 22 years of experience in Accounting and Auditing include five years in the accounting department of a national software company, two years as the owner of a bookkeeping and consulting company, and more than 15 years of experience with Bay Area public accounting firms. She joined Rubens Partners in 2010 as Accounting and Audit Manager. She brings a wealth of experience working with a broad range of industries, such as nonprofits, contruction, publishing, manufacturing, legal, and medical. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the California Society of CPAs.

While she specializes in 401(k) and Employee Benefit Plan Audits, Linda's expertise is much more far reaching. She works closely with business owners and their in-house accounting staffs to help them fully understand their financials and to implement efficiencies and processes to mitigate risks, build assets, and manage day-to-day operations more effectively.  Working for a boutique CPA firm like Rubens Partners allows Linda to really get to know her clients and make a valuable contribution to the success of their businesses by supporting their financial objectives.  She takes her role as a business consultant very seriously and prides herself on the fact that her clients come to respect her as a trusted advisor.

Linda speaks fluent Portuguese and is an active member of her community.  Since her youth, she has been a member of the Luso American Fraternal Federation.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and extended family.
